The Old Hall Inn
The hub of the businesses. The Old Hall is well established as one of the Peak Districts finest pubs. With many awards to boot, the Old Hall boasts one of the busiest restaurants in the region, focusing on local and seasonal produce.
House Keeping
Ranked as one highest in the Peak District, we have an array of different accommodation options. We take pride in the quality of our rooms and the standard maintained by our excellent team
The Pop up's
The pop up kitchens are a great opportunity to cut your teeth on menu development, costing and running your own service. These kitchens are ad hoc and designed to be fun & interesting.
Awards
We have been awarded Derbyshire's Life's Dining pub of the year, as well as much coverage from national press, including the Telegraph, The Times, The Guardian. Check out our press page for more details.
Front of House
We have a young and energetic front of house team. From running food, to managing a section, to pulling pints, we all share a passion for delivering great service. Whether its part time work whilst studying or coming full time and taking on more responsibility and management, there is sure to be a role for the right person.
The Paper Mill Inn
Our sister pub is nibble, reinventing itself monthly with varying 'pop up' street food kitchens, tap takeovers and provides a relaxed, informal and complementary alternative to the Old Hall
The Old Hall Food
Our restaurant has a hard earned reputation for the quality of the food and the friendly service. We are looking for enthusiastic Chefs to join our well established team, to help continue the growth and maintain our high standards. We have invested £200k+ in recent years on kitchen facilities including a separate prep kitchen, all with full walk in refrigeration.
The Beer & Wine
We have been named CAMRA regional pub of the year numerous times, and have been in the final for 'The Great Britishs Ale pub of the year' a couple of times. Our extensive selection of real ale, cider, gin and boutique wines are unparalleled in the area. We take a very active role in promoting wet led events, like our annual festival which attracts over 5k people, tap takeovers, collaboration brews, wine tastings etc. Here you can see our cellar manager Barney working with Torrside to brew our special for one of the many tap takeovers.
